Zero Waste Family Brand Identity
When the Zero Waste Family approached me to develop their visual identity, I saw it as an opportunity to immerse myself in a world that was entirely new to me. Sustainability wasn't a category I had previously worked in, so the first step was understanding not only their mission, but the visual language that would authentically represent it.
Through a collaborative discovery process, we defined the values, personality, and audience behind the brand before translating those insights into a cohesive identity system. From there, I created a logo and comprehensive brand guide that established everything from typography and color palettes to logo usage and brand applications. The result was a visual identity that felt approachable, modern, and purpose-driven—giving the Zero Waste Family a consistent foundation to communicate their mission and grow their community.
Zero Waste Family Documentary
While working with the Zero Waste Family, I had the opportunity to create the illustrated opening sequence for their documentary. The team wanted a hand-drawn visual style that could seamlessly transition into animation, so I explored a range of illustration concepts before refining the direction together. The final result became the foundation for the animated intro and brought a unique, handcrafted personality to the film (see the final image in this case study).
